Argument agents RFC2826

RFC2826 outlines the danger of having multiple DNS root authorities and the potential for different networks to resolve the same name differently. I believe this is slippery slope argument. The current alternative DNS roots have little overlap with any of the official TLDs in use today. OpenNIC offers a low cost volunteer run namespace for hobbyist and the Russian National Domain Name System although used for censorship creates a more resilient internet for Russia, the global sanctions on Russia demonstrate this. The attitude agents alternative roots is very understandable, they undermines the legitimacy of IANA and ICANN but additive roots like OpenNIC and Ethereum Name Service that dont overwrite could expand the functionality of the web. Blockchain DNS is peer to peer and mitigates the issues discuses in RFC 2826 and created by Russia.
